Our Organizing Committee
The Organizing Committee is made up of volunteer members. They are the ones who ensure the league runs smoothly and take on the majority of the organizational work. Without their ongoing commitment, BMQS simply wouldn’t exist!
Tess Pelletier McCrea

Non-binary Queer dyke who loves everything related to film, games, and delicious foodstuffs. Working as a researcher in psychiatry and addictology, and studying to be a psychotherapist. A friend reached out to me to help put together one Queer softball team in 2023, and that sort of snowballed into the beautiful community we have today! I’m excited to keep growing with this league of our own

Queer femme cat lady who played baseball as a kid and was looking for a way to get back into it. Co-captain of the Bluegays two years running. Also known as Big Daddy. Guaranteed to be the loudest person in the room (sorry).

Non-binary grey-ace queer dyke, skepticism expert, psychedelics sociologist, Bixi enthusiast, passionate about learning stuff, eager to challenge sport archaisms, unable to say no to a Scrabble or Catan game.

Your classic tomboy kid, I played baseball with all boys growing up, and am now thrilled to be getting back into the sport. With a deep love and appreciation of this big blue planet, I work in science communications, fostering ocean connection and understanding. Creative gal with a lot of hobbies. Old soul. Dog mom. Gay lady.

Accident prone baby millenial, obsessed with sports that involve balls or hitting things. Huge into community building, especially for the QTBIPOC community. Corporate sellout by day, photographer when I have the time. Hobbies include throwing queer house parties, playing video games, dad jokes, and playing music!! My latest instrument is the harp.

I am a real bee. Outside of pollinating, I enjoy video games, going to Trans Swim at Piscine Quintal, doing weeb shit, learning new things, and going on bike rides. I grew up watching the Yankees with my grandpa and playing little league baseball. I don’t think I got along with the boys I played sports with for reasons I now understand, but I love the game 🙂

Our Board of Directors
The members of the Board of Directors are elected for a two-year term by league members at the Annual General Meeting. They ensure the league’s legal compliance and are responsible for its proper functioning.
